WHAT IS OLED

[Organic Light-Emitting Diode]

Organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) are displays that use self-luminous phenomena. Organic materials are arranged between the two electrodes, and electrons and holes injected recombine in the organic material, and electricity flows to the fluorescent organic compound. OLED has been developed as a dream display that can replace LCD with all necessary elements such as high speed response, wide viewing angle, high image quality and wide operating temperature range.

In the OLED market, Korea's display industry is playing a leading role in the world. Samsung Display is leading the display industry for small and medium-sized OLED products and LG Display is leading for large OLED products.
